Bob Balsley is the best selling author of "Understanding Guitar Chords", published by Mel Bay. His new Mel Bay book, "Understanding Guitar Chord Progressions", will be out in November 2006. He has written numerous articles for Guitar Player Magazine and Fingerstyle Guitar. His UW-Green Bay summer guitar camp is nationally recognized and has grown exponentially since he conceived it 14 years ago. Bob is an endorsing artist for GHS strings, Gibson and Heritage guitars and has numerous CD credits as performer, producer and engineer at his GURU studio and record label. Bob has taught guitar for 40 + years, including 17 years on the UWGB jazz faculty. Excellence in music and musical instruction is his guiding principle.
